Dear Fellow Rotarians,
On behalf of the incoming Board, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to each of you for placing your trust in us for the coming Rotary year. We look forward to delivering another outstanding year of Service and Fellowship.

With Changeover now behind us, and with well-deserved congratulations to outgoing and incoming Club Service Directors for hosting such a wonderful evening, it is now time to turn our attention to the year ahead.

Our Action Plan is brimming with opportunities to engage in both Service and Fellowship over the next 12 months. Projects span the full spectrum of club activities—from long-standing favourites such as the Music Extravaganza and the Science Fair, to the return of the Gumball Rally and Jamaica Health Screening initiatives, and our rising star, Wellness Wednesdays. Alongside these are numerous other service projects aimed at ensuring that the profile and impact of Rotary Central
continue to grow within our community.

This year’s Rotary International theme, introduced by 2026–2027 Rotary International President Olayinka Babalola, calls on us to “Create Lasting Change.” This theme serves as a reminder for all of us to continue building upon the strong legacy that Rotary Central has established since the club was founded 39 years ago. I continue to be inspired by the energy, enthusiasm, and talent within our membership, and I look forward to seeing those qualities shine even more brightly in
the year ahead.

Membership will be a major focus this year, both in strengthening engagement among existing members and in attracting new members to our club. I encourage each of you to bring guests to our meetings whenever possible—not only to introduce them to Rotary, but also to broaden our reach and impact throughout the wider community.

I am committed to making the coming year a truly special one for all of us, while assuring you that we will have plenty of fun along the way.

Thank you for your continued support, commitment, and service. Together, we can create lasting change and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
